--OPEN HOUSE A SUCCESS! Thank you everyone for attending! We appreciate your support.
--FIELD DAY PICTURES ON FACEBOOK! If you have not already become friends with our school facebook page, feel free to friend “Kentwood Prep Lantana”. In addition to the pictures, we post daily news.
--YEARBOOK CLUB met and planned out some future photo ops. The Josten’s Yearbook Rep will be attending our next meeting on October 7th!
--INTERACT CLUB…. We are thinking about helping out at a Food Pantry. If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know!
--TRANSITIONS CONFERENCE EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION…This year the conference is being held January 27th from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Lynn University. Early Bird Registration will save you $10 if you register before December 2nd.
--MEDICATIONS….Just a friendly reminder, please don’t allow your child to carry medications with them. All medications must be transferred from adult to adult. The dangers of allowing a child to carry medication are fairly obvious when just one or two might spill on the floor and another student would pick up and take the medication. Thank you for helping to keep our students safe.
--STUDENTS DRIVING…a reminder that if a student starts driving to and from school we have a “Drivers Agreement” form we have the student and the parent complete.
--STUDENTS GOING HOME WITH OTHER STUDENTS…In order to make sure again that our students are safe, we need notes from both parents when this happens. This will make sure everyone is on the same page. Thank you!
--PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES….Those of you who attended the Open House have already signed up for Parent Teacher Conferences. If you weren’t able to attend, please contact the Front Office to schedule. Thanks!
